Picking pockets.

Hello again! This time there be pickpockets on the loose! so check your wallets and purses and see if they are still there.There have been pickpocketing cases as of late so here are some tips on how to keep your money and valuables safe.

-Keep your wallets and purses someplace tight on your body this prevents pickpockets from taking your money bags as you will feel it. -Watch out for people standing very close to you or behind you as you never know who will try and take your items. -For ladies keep your purses at the bottom of your bags or in your clothes. This prevents pickpockets from taking your purses unless they want a molest charge as well. -For guys just put your wallets in your underwear or in the inside pocket of your pants if your pants come equipped with them. -Chaining your wallets and purses on a short chain to your bag or pants help as when the pick pocket tries to take the items the chain will pull and you will feel it. Littering yuck.

Hello again everybody! This is your eye on the streets here with more news about our community. As some of you are aware there have been cases of severe littering in our community here's a picture i took with my phone

This is because of excessive feeding of stray cats and dogs in our neighborhood and people not bothering to throw away their trash. Not that i am condemning being kind to animals but please do not leave the food there and not pick it up after, leave a small amount of food on the ground or on a piece of newspaper and pick up after the cats and dogs are done eating. Thank you. Also i will contact the NEA and have them install more dustbins around the area so that should help with the problem.

As some of you might have noticed, there have been a sudden increase in the number of stray cats and dogs in our neighbourhood. Furthermore, the streets of our neighbourhood have also been littered with cat food. There has also been rumours of stray dogs attacking joggers.

Here are some tips and measures to consider to reduce the number of stray cats and dogs in our area.

•After feeding the stray cats and dogs, Please throw back to the dustbin that provided.

•Do not litter this might attract the stray animals even though it’s just leftovers.

The reason there have been an increase in the stray animals is basically because someone or a group of us have been feeding these animals. This, in turn, brings in more stray cats and dogs. By following the tips and measures, we will be able to make our neighbourhood a better place for us to live in. This may anger a few animal lovers but we have to act fast or more people will be the victims to the clutches of the stray dogs.

 In the meantime, this case will be handed over to AVA to step up measures to round up strays in our area.

There have been many cases of unreported petty crimes in our neighbourhood and I know that many of you are fearing for the safety of your property and belongings and also your selves.But together, we can do our part to stop these petty criminals from running scot-free. Most of the crimes are petty crimes for example pickpocketing and vandalism here are some pictures to emphasize my point:

 If anybody spots anybody acting suspicious please call the police and if you see a bunch of kids running away laughing yell at them and see if they panic if they do remember their faces because they were up to something for sure. When they are apprehended we will call you and you can identify them. Keep your eyes and ears open people and well catch them soon.
